No clients who are genuine and believes your work do not ask for a working file. T just ask for low resolution pdf or even jpeg.
Convert PDF: All You Need to Know
This means no higher resolution file that's not needed. If you want to have a high resolution print out then ask for a print out of a JPEG file. It's not a cheap thing to do. So if a client just wants a JPEG copy, don't argue, just send a working pd file. But for those who use JPEG files in some way, don't assume that they're working PDS. Or be a gentleman and ask to view a small size version before printing it. It's really rude if you don't send a working pd. Just the way they are used in the real world. If you feel you don't need a working pd, then get a digital camera and make a low resolution copy of the image. Once you've scanned / printed out the image and get the digital copy of it. You've got your client ready to go, and they are more pleased with.
